![]() ![]() Then once done with the mission, it would end the mission as normal, and would show the rewards in the Somatic Link, and after exiting the rewards screen, the display would close, and the Somatic Link would open, allowing your Operator to walk freely around the Orbiter once more. Steve didn't mention a huge thing about Starchart 3.0, that an actual difficulty slider will be added to the map system, it makes things easier to the new players and can be usefull for veterans. The Somatic Link would then close down over the Operator as usual, and the Star Chart 3.0 would appear (giving that it is more of a map now rather than a series of Holograms floating around you), and you'd be able to select your mission and play. Yesterday they talked a little bit more about the starchart revamp. If chat is opened, to not be able to click trough it and enabling random mission from the star chart - Max zoom-in and zoom-out levels tweak needed - Extractor menus on top of the star chart needs a little tweak (Larger mouse-hover boxes which bring out the menu) - Planet hovering feature. With what has been shown for the design of Star Chart 3.0 so far, and with the new addition of the Operator sitting in the Somatic Link, I came up with an idea from people asking if we will ever be able to walk around in the Orbiter as the Operator.Įssentially, you'd be able to walk around the Orbiter as the Operator, and look at your warframe in the arsenal and do everything else as usual (the animations on the warframes would still be available in the arsenal since it is shown in the Second Dream quest, that the operator can have some minor control over the warframe while not connected to the Somatic Link), and when starting a mission, you could walk back to the Somatic Link and sit down. EDIT: Seriously just stop using outdated information and commenting on this old thread. ![]()
